The New Harvard Park

Featuring inoperable boats, trailers, trucks and comfortable seating, it is kid safe.  The vehicles have all been disabled mechanically and have flat tires to keep them in position.  Another fine example of city administration making progress at improving their park system.

Harvard Supports Taste of Chicago

Unlike Woodstock, Crystal Lake or other Metra stops, the City of Harvard provides free parking along the streets surrounding the Harvard Metra Station.  Despite spaces being marked as two hour parking; the police department does not enforce downtown parking ordinances for those desirous of spending money in Chicago.  They are encouraged to take up parking spaces around Harvard businesses.  Another fine example of supporting local busineses by looking the other way.
